We at Yamaha wish to express our sincerest sympathies to all those people who are experiencing the severe effects of the Tohoku–Pacific Ocean Earthquake.
We would like to announce that Yamaha Corporation has decided to provide donations, as noted below, for relief to those suffering from the disaster and assistance to the areas working to recover from the earthquake.
We are praying that the areas affected by the earthquake will be able to recover as quickly as possible. Yamaha intends to provide all the assistance it can to facilitate this recovery.
1.Donations
•Yamaha Corporation will make a relief donation of ¥10 million.
•Yamaha will also provide additional relief donations to match the amounts donated by its employees.
2.Recipients
•Donations will be made to the Central Community Chest of Japan and other organizations.
